Remembering our Roots

The 44th Annual Recognition Awards and Historical Plaques Presentation was held at Fort Edmonton Park on April 4th, 2019. Local historian, Catherine C. Cole, was presented with the Historical Recognition Award for her continuing dedication to heritage research, documentation and collaboration in Edmonton and around the world. Additionally, the Southpark on Whyte sign, along with sixteen buildings and organizations were presented plaques commemorating the importance in retaining and preserving this history of our city.

Thanks to the Edmonton Historical Board and the City of Edmonton for their continued support of the heritage and history of Edmonton.

Meals That Mend

Yesterday a team of volunteers from the Southpark On Whyte Development team on our second visit to the Ronald McDonald House to prepare and serve lunch to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House through their Meals that Mend Program.

As partners for the Southpark on Whyte development, ONE Properties and Wheaton Properties are committed to supporting and enriching Whyte Avenue’s neighbourhood. Working with Ronald McDonald House Charities, our goal is to enhance their operations in Northern Alberta through donations and volunteering.
